STUDENT AUDITIONS
Casting student dancers between the ages of 6-19. Auditions for students are on:
Sunday, September 7th
at Maine Dance Center
*there is a $15 audition fee and if cast in the show, a $50 participation fee*
ADULT CASTING CALL
Seeking performers with experience in dance and play-acting - ages seventeen and up. Adult performers do not need to audition, but should send an email application for consideration and from there we will schedule an individual callback.
Featured Roles
Maine Dance Company is casting for our magical holiday production, Christmas at the Castle — an original, family-friendly spectacle filled with storytelling, dance, and beloved fairytale characters.
We are currently seeking performers (ages 17 and up) for the following featured roles:

Madam Marzipan (think Mrs. Potts meets stage manager with a flair for the dramatic)

Snow Queen (poised, powerful, and deeply connected to winter magic)

Snow Princess (spirited, sincere, and always ready for adventure)

Rapunzel (bright, optimistic, and resourceful)

Eugene (witty, charming, and reluctantly heroic)
-
Belle (wise, bookish, and brave)
-
Ariel (curious, expressive, and full of wonder)
🕯️ Requirements:

Strong play-acting and storytelling skills
-
Dance or choreography experience (all featured roles participate in movement-based storytelling)

Availability for rehearsals on some Sundays (September–December) and performances in December 18-21.

Comfort with interactive performance and audience engagement
💰 Some paid positions are available.
📍 Rehearsals take place at Maine Dance Center in Raymond, ME.
